Community Planning 1

The Community Planning course will take a closer look at planning policies and procedures in Nunavut’s communities. This course is open to anyone who is interested in learning more about community planning, with emphasis on the role of the municipal Planning and Lands Administrator (PLA).

Topics covered in this course will include community plans, zoning by-laws, by-law amendments, development permit applications, and land survey processes. Delivered in an online format, participants will learn through course lectures and practice scenarios. By the end of the course, each participant will be confident using their community plan and zoning by-law to regulate and understand land use changes.   

This training is non-credit course.
