ICS 200: Basic Incident Command System—is the next level after ICS 100 and goes deeper into how ICS is actually applied during an incident. There are two parts: an online self-paced course followed by a TEAMS in-person session with a trainer to get certifieed. To register you must have ICS 100 certification.

What ICS 200 is

ICS 200 builds on ICS 100 and focuses on managing initial response actions, especially when:

  • Incidents grow beyond a single responder
  • Multiple agencies or departments are involved
  • A formal command structure is required
