Description :

The HEO course is a three-week course that is designed to give participants the basic knowledge needed to operate HEO equipment safely. The course can accept four participants. Each participant will train on three pieces of equipment. 


Who can apply:

  • KIA sponsored participants must be residents of Kugaaruk, registered under the Nunavut Agreement. Priority will be given to applicants registered with the Kitikmeot Region.
  • Possess a valid class 5 driver's license for a least one year.

  • Hamlet employees ONLY must apply through the Hamlet SAO.
  • All other applicants must send their Resume, Letter of Interest, and Driver's License to nmaksagak@kitia.ca, call Nicole for more information, 867-983-2458 Ext. 1011. Your CLO can assist you in applying.
