Description :

The HEO course is a three-week course that is designed to give the participants the basic knowledge needed to operate HEO equipment safely. The course can accept four participants. Each participant will train on three pieces of equipment.


Who can apply:

  • KIA sponsored participants must be residents of Cambridge Bay, registered under the Nunavut Agreement. Priority will be given to applicants registered with the Kitikmeot Region.
  • Posses a valid class 5 driver license for at least one year.

  • Hamlet employees ONLY must apply through the Hamlet SAO
  • All other applicants must send their Resume, Letter of Interests and Drivers License to nmaksagak@kitia.ca, call Nicole for more information 867-983-2458 Ext 1011. Your CLO can assist you in applying.
