Fire Fighter Level 2

Once firefighters have acquired the skills in the General Level and Level 1 Fire Fighter training, they are invited to attend the Level 2 course. The 10-day course is structured for competency-based group instruction of Firefighter 2 information presented in the Essentials of Firefighting, Sixt Edition.  The intention of the General, Level 1 and Level 2 courses is to protect firefighters from undue risk while preventing and fighting fires in their communities. Turn out gear required.

  • Fire & Life Safety Initiatives - Private Dwelling Fire Safety Surveys
  • Hazards, Behavior, & Identification of Hazardous Materials/WMD
  • Mitigation of Haz Mat/WWD incidents
