This course is for Planning and Lands Administrators only.
This in-person course explores practical examples of community planning and land administration tasks in Nunavut. The course will provide practice in the everyday activities of a Planning and Lands Administrator (PLA) working for a municipality. Students will work through scenarios processing land applications, executing documents, completing leases and acquiring lands within municipal boundaries, among other activities. The Practical Course builds on the three other Planning and Lands courses (but they are not prerequisites) to put knowledge into action.
