Course Description:
This program is designed to train Ground Search and Rescue Team. This four-day course will consist of three days of classroom time for theory training and one day of field work. There is no overnight phase to this program. The program has been tailored to emphasize the use of specific Garmin GPS products to respond to distress signals from persons lost on the land and in need of rescue.
Participants must be able to supply their own field equipment & snowmobile. Training allowances will be provided for participants that are not employed or taking unpaid leave
during training.
